A private art space in Brussels

Architecture · Urban Art · Contemporary Culture

A private exhibition space in Brussels exploring the dialogue between architecture, urban culture and contemporary art.

The Gallery is a private exhibition space in Brussels dedicated to contemporary artistic practices connected to architecture and urban culture.

Through a programme of 4 exhibitions: 2 solo show and 2 duo exhibitions, the gallery brings together artists working across painting, photography, sculpture, street art, drawing, illustration, design and digital practices.

Located within my private residence, the space offers an familiar setting for discovering artists and engaging with their work.

THE CONCEPT

cAsA is born from an open door.

The door of a home that is open to artists, to their work, to visitors, to friends, and to the exchange that happens in between. Here, art is a part of a domestic environment where people can meet, talk, discover and share.

Everyone is welcome to step inside, discover the space and experience art in a way that feels personal, spontaneous and direct, without the distance, codes or formalities of a traditional gallery.

At CASA, there is no strict separation between artist, artwork, architecture and visitor. There is simply a shared space, a home, and an ongoing exchange.

The project brings together different experiences that have shaped my journey over the years, from writing and street art to architecture, urban culture, and my professional experience in the world of immersive exhibitions.

cAsA is a personal space, a family home in the heart of Saint-Gilles, one of the most characteristic and vibrant neighbourhoods of Brussels. A home filled with stories, objects and everyday life that, from time to time, takes on another dimension, resonating with new lines, shapes and ideas inspired by architecture and urban art.

The project starts small and personal, but with the ambition to grow into something more…
